--------------------------------electro-voice 655c

It was introduced in the late 1950s. It was billed as "The world's finest broadcast and TV microphone."

It's not terribly flashy or modern-looking, just a good, old-fashioned reliable stick microphone.

But as a kid, I always imagined myself holding either this or the 635a.

This is a renowned model, though you probably don't know it - it's the same model Dick Clark used for years on "American Bandstand."
He put his up for auction back in 2006; it sold for $33,000.

I acquired a 655c not too long ago, it's cool to hold, and makes great sounds, too.
